After careful consideration, the evaluation committee composed of alumni representative Prof Chekitan Dev (H85), Hospitality MBA co-directors Jeanine Picard, Prof. Peter O’Connor and Hospitality Alumni President Charles Luthi (H83) has selected Sumati Murari (H10) as the winner of the first Hospitality alumni scholarship.

Sumati will be receiving a cheque of 7 000 Euros, representing contributions from Hospitality alumni in 2008. Sumati is from New Delhi, India and is a graduate from the University of Delhi.
She has been associated with the hospitality industry for the past 3 years, having worked for Horwath HTL India before recommencing her studies.
Sumati aspires to build a career in consulting or business development in the global hospitality and tourism industry.
