ESSEC Career Services Supporting Career Pathways

20.1.2026

At ESSEC Business School, the Career Services play a central role in supporting students’ career development. Based on the Cergy, Singapore, and Rabat campuses, they support students throughout their studies, from career exploration to entry into the job market.

Their mission is built around three core areas. These include career planning, employer engagement, and the monitoring of professional experiences in France and internationally.

Support from the Career Services begins as soon as students join ESSEC. It helps them develop self-awareness, explore industries and roles, and define or refine a career plan aligned with their academic path.

This support relies on a range of formats. These include editorial resources, group workshops, individual coaching, self-learning tools, and intensive programs. Together, these resources help students identify their skills and make informed decisions at each stage of their education.

The Career Services also support students in their search for internships, apprenticeships, VIE programs, and first jobs. Each year, hundreds of connections with recruiters are organized through career fairs, sector-specific events, and company presentations.

These exchanges help students better understand employer expectations and identify relevant opportunities. Students also access a wide range of job offers through dedicated platforms and benefit from connections within the ESSEC community, including alumni, through a mentoring program.

Career Services support continues throughout all professional experiences included in the programs. Internships, apprenticeships, and experiential learning modules are closely monitored from both academic and regulatory perspectives.

Teams ensure compliance with legal frameworks, support the formalization of experiences, and remain available to answer questions related to roles, contracts, or regulations. When needed, they provide guidance and mediation. This support also helps students understand professional standards and fully benefit from each experience.

In an increasingly global environment, the Career Services place strong emphasis on international career paths. Dedicated forums, thematic events, and meetings with international employers help broaden students’ career perspectives and prepare them to work in multicultural settings.
