Message from the President

The ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA Alumni Association (ADEMBA) is proud to represent the community of ESSEC EMBA Alumni, within the ESSEC community and in the business world.

Your Association is dedicated to the following roles and challenges:

  • Leverage your success, with the purpose to improve the visibility and positioning of the ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA community,
  • Promote ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA in France, Europe and worldwide,
  • Support Alumni throughout their professional career,
  • Reinforce our network, through the organization of friendly events, cross-promotions meetings, discussions, projects, regular forums,
  • Organize events aiming at extending the intellectual learning beyond the education years,
  • Act in favour of a continuous improvement of the program, through close work with ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA Academic Representatives.  

The Executive Committee has decided to put a special emphasis in reconnecting the network together, and bringing more value to its members through dedicated events: conferences, networking events, support to the current promotions and others to come.

2009 was our 15th anniversary and was the opportunity for a very special celebration.

ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA,  a top level education

Based on the combined experiences of two leading Business Schools in Europe, ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA has a strong focus on international foresight. This international temper is reinforced through partnerships with other “best in class” Business Schools, such as Instituto de Empresa (Madrid), or other Business Schools from Budapest, Brussels, Asia and America.  

ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA is designed for full-time Managers. Having reached executive positions after 8 to 10 years of professional experience, they endorse responsibilities needing a MBA program highly flexible to boost their career.Executive MBA participants are engineers, doctors, pharmacists, academics… 

Typical Executive MBA participant’s profile:

  • 35 participants on average per track,
  • 34 years old ,
  • 9 years of professional experience,
  • 24 nationalities from the five continents,
  • 2/3 non French native, (more than half for the modular program)

A high % of executive women participate thanks to a strong school policy to facilitate their access to the program.

Three tracks:

  • Modular track: 8 modules, 4 in Mannheim, 4 in Paris. Paris
  • Week-end Track, approximately 28 week-ends
  • Mannheim Week-end Track, approximately 28 week-ends

All tracks include at least 3 to 4 residencies in various places (Paris, Mannheim, Brussels, Singapore and others)
